Her story
Momma Bear Sweetz started the way the best bakeries do: a mom who loves to bake, a kitchen that always smelled like brownies, and friends who kept asking, "Can you make one for me?"
She's a full-time cook and baker who bakes everything from scratch at home in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Birthday cakes for the neighbors, brownie trays for the office, cookies for the church bake sale, and fresh bread for Sunday dinner. Every order is made by hand, in small batches, by someone who knows her customers by name.

Because a mama bear takes care of her people. That's how we bake: generous portions, real butter, and the kind of care you'd put into something for your own family.
Homemade in Menomonie
We're a Wisconsin home bakery operating under the state's home baker exemption. We sell directly to you, by pickup, local delivery, or at the Menomonie Farmers Market, and we stick to shelf-stable baked goods. Read our cottage food notice.
